continue his effort in developing global engagement for UW faculty and students, which
includes developing research collaborations with international institutional and/or
corporate partners to promote health sciences, making transdisciplinary connections
around the theme of global health among faculty within and outside the College of

sciences and creating opportunities for UW students to study abroad.
