Academic Program Reviews (APR) provides an opportunity for the institution and faculty to examine the quality of their academic programs as a whole, to affirm ways that the program is working well, and to implement improvements. APR is also a mechanism for demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement and thus meet accreditation requirements of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). At the University of Wyoming, comprehensive institutional reviews will generally be conducted on a department by department basis, every seven years.
