I am originally from Morocco. I did both my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Rabat. I came to the United States in 2018 as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant. I have completed my MA in International Studies at the University of Wyoming. Currently, I am doing another MA in American Studies.
I worked as a Student Affairs Coordinator with IES Abroad Rabat, which is the International Institute of Education for American college students who want to study abroad and discover other parts of the world's education and culture. I was responsible for housing, orientations, academics, Internships, fields trips, and cultural activities and events. Encountering American students from universities such as Georgetown, George Washington, Penn State College, the US Naval Academy, and the University of Chicago allowed me to learn more about the American system of education and share my skills in teaching and leadership.
I was also part of the Moroccan Army as a non-commissioned officer. I joined the Army at an early age, and it helped me to build strong leadership skills. Communication and organization, perseverance, teamwork, and discipline are the main qualities I have learned while I was in service, and these are the qualities, I brought with me to the United State as a scholar and graduate student.
reading, going to the gym, and meeting my friends
I sleep. A lot.
