Day 2 of the Wyoming Open Science Data Summit closes out the summit re-conveneing researchers, educators, data professionals, and policymakers to advance an open, AI-ready future for Wyoming’s research data ecosystem. The summit seeks to build a sustained community of practice—and a center of influence—for open science standards, governance, and capacity across the state and come up with goals, plans, solutions, and recommendations for a collaborative path forward.

WyACT is an interdisciplinary 5-year NSF funded project at UW that pushes boundaries on how science is use-inspired and co-produced through the lens of climate impacts on the water cycle. Over 100 researchers, students and staff from 16 University departments have connected with Wyoming communities, practitioners, and decision-makers. Learn how the WYADAPT Project helps Wyoming Communities, The State of Wyoming as a whole, and you as an individual. | ||

UW and collaborators are granted access to a number of resources including high capacity computing resources (UW's locally hosted cluster resources, NWSC, ANL, AI4WY). Storage (services from ARCC, IT, Libraries) and Data Literacy Assistance (Libraries). Speakers will go over how researchers qualify for these resources, how they can share their data, and how they can determine which resource(s) best fit their needs. | ||
