No More Sob Stories: Advancement of Women in Journalism in the 20th Century

September 5 – November 21, 2015

Boyle Gallery

AHCI AHCII

Twentieth century women journalists broke incredible barriers.  By the middle of the century women were reporting on complex topics and had gained access to places and events where women had not been before.  Derived from collections at the American Heritage Center, University of Wyoming, this exhibit focuses on five diverse women from the early to mid-1900s who sought adventure, equal opportunities, and forged change.

  • Curated by Amanda Stow, Assistant Archivist
  • Presented by the American Heritage Center
