how to nominate for spring awards
All nomination packets must be received by Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Please submit e-mail nominations to the Chief, Tau Beta Pi Faculty Advisor at: steveb@uwyo.edu

The successful award recipient will be a faculty member selected by the members of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society.
The successful award recipient will be identified by a Selection Committee including the award’s recent winners. Nomination packets must include the following:
- Nomination letter
- Data on current and former students and post-docs, including dates of admission and graduation, publications, presentations, awards, and other career data
- Graduate teaching data, including evaluations for the last two years, course syllabi, advanced-level textbooks, etc.
- External funding data, including examples of use to advance graduate education
- Current Vitae
- A small sample of self-selected published work is acceptable but not crucial
- Other data pointing to effective graduate research and teaching

For the College’s Outstanding Staff Awards, please provide a minimum of three letters of nomination detailing demonstrated excellence in service to the College. The successful award recipients will be identified by a Selection Committee as described in the attachment.
- Students may submit nominations for the TBP Outstanding Staff Award
- Faculty, academic professional, research associates, and staff are encouraged to submit nominations for the CEPS Outstanding Staff Award
- Previous winners may be considered after a 5 year period since last receiving the award.
These awards recognize outstanding alumni accomplihsments.
