Department of Chemistry
The Chemistry Department owns a Bruker-AXS Smart Apex II CCD Diffractometer equipped with an Oxford Cobra Cryosystem. The diffractometer is located in Room 12 in the basement of the Physical Sciences Building. Crystallographic data for single crystal samples are collected at temperatures ranging from 90 K to RT. Dr. Arulsamy assists in the acquisition of data, structural refinement and in the preparation of publishable reports. The diffractometer is also available for the measurement of X-ray diffraction pattern for powder (polycrystalline) samples.
