Christi is the divisional head of Online & Digital Learning and an Instructional Designer. She has completed three degrees from the University of Wyoming, BS in Biology, MS in Instructional Design, and EdD in Adult Learning and Technology. Christi has taught courses across the institution from instructional design to leadership. She currently teaches in the School of Culture, Gender, and Social Justice as well as Kinesiology and Health. Her scholarly interests and areas of expertise include diversity, equity, and inclusion, inclusive pedagogy, online education, emerging technologies, and faculty development. Christi is also the co-coach for the UW Nordic Ski.

Jeff has an MS in Adult Learning & Technology and a BS in Comprehensive Broadcasting, both from the University of Wyoming. He is currently part of the ECTL’s Online & Digital Learning and Critical & Creative Thinking teams. Jeff teaches one course for the BAS degree. His professional interests include digital education, organizational leadership, and critical thinking in the curriculum. His areas of expertise include digital teaching & learning, current UW supported digital teaching solutions, and legacy distance education practices and technologies.

Oksana is an Instructional Designer at the UW Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning. She completed her PhD in Instructional Technology, from the University of Wyoming, and has taught online and web-conferencing classes in online education, educational policy, statistics, and qualitative research. Her scholarly interests include quality assurance, faculty development, and teaching strategies in synchronous and asynchronous online courses. Her areas of expertise include online education, quality assurance, and educational technology application. She is a Quality Matters Master Reviewer and Coordinator for UW.
Senior Instructional Designer
Amy is a Senior Instructional Designer within ECTL's Online and Digital Learning team. She completed her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction and M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Washington. She collaborates with stakeholders across disciplines to create accessible, engaging, and learner-centered online and hybrid courses. Her professional interests and areas of expertise include Universal Design for Learning (UDL), curriculum design, instructional design models, E-learning authoring tools, multimedia design, quality assurance, and project management.

Megan is an Instructional Designer for the Online and Digital Learning Team. She holds a BS in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University, MS in Instructional Technology, and a PhD in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Wyoming. Her research focuses on inclusive design, remote education, and kindness as pedagogy. Her expertise spans instructional design, career and technical education, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

Thom has an MA in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University and a BS in Mass Communications and Broadcasting from Northern Michigan University. He is currently part of the ECTL’s Online & Digital Learning team. Thom previously taught graduate courses in Foundations of Online Teaching and Integrating Technology into Teaching and Learning for the Cognitive and Learning Sciences Department at Michigan Technological University. His areas of expertise and professional interests include best practices in online education and quality assurance of online courses, digital and alternative credentialing, and the instructional design process. His areas of research in publications and presentations include the effect of online teaching training on online teaching, authentic assessments in online courses, and increasing teaching presence in online STEM courses.
