John P. Ellbogen Summer Institute (funded by an endowment from the Ellbogen Foundation)Following the model of the Great Teachers Movement, our Summer Institute is based on the philosophy that well-facilitated shoptalk is one of the highest forms of professional development. No individual "expert" can match the collective knowledge, experience, wisdom, creativity, and genius of any group of teachers actively involved in their profession. The participants are the "experts" at the retreat. |

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Summit Watch PartyWe get it - it's hard to attend a fully virtual conference these days. Instead, let's attend a fully virtual conference together in the ECTL Office! Join the ECTL Assessment Team and colleagues from across campus to attend the 32nd Annual Kennesaw State University SoTL Summit. Dialogue together between sessions, brainstorm SoTL ideas, receive resources, and much more. As with any good watch party, food will be provided throughout the day. 32nd Annual SoTL Summit Program Description: Welcome to the SoTL Summit Program page! Our fully virtual program includes peer-reviewed sessions and posters, invited plenary sessions, and a keynote address. This conference, formerly known as the Research on Teaching and Learning Summit, has a rich tradition of celebrating the scholarship of teaching and learning with an intentionally developmental focus, helping participants at all levels of SoTL experience grow as teacher-scholars. In addition to peer reviewed sessions, the fully virtual program will include a keynote address and other invited plenary sessions. We hope you’ll make plans to join this growing community of scholars! |
