Job Description
Jake Orr serves as Program Coordinator, Senior for the College of Education, providing administrative, operational, and strategic support to the Associate Deans and a variety of college initiatives. In this role, Jake coordinates project-related activities, including presentations, workshops, seminars, and outreach efforts, while adapting materials to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders. The position requires expertise in institutional systems and processes, including Banner, WyoRecords, admissions, Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Management, graduate student forms, and Smartsheet.
The Program Coordinator also represents the College at grant-related functions and meetings, supports public relations and recruitment efforts, assists with website management, and contributes to the development and implementation of project goals and funding strategies. Additionally, Jake serves as the primary administrator and point of contact for the Master Educator Competency Program (MECP), oversees student course evaluations through Watermark, and provides comprehensive support to students, faculty, and staff. The position performs a variety of additional duties that advance the mission and strategic priorities of the College of Education.
