Cudweed Grasshopper
Hypochlora alba (Dodge)

Hypochlora alba, the cudweed (sage) grasshopper, occurs in eastern Wyoming in areas where its primary
food plant, cudweed sage, occurs. Its gray-green coloration blends perfectly with
this plant. Adults are present in late August and September and may be more common
than this survey indicates. It feeds exclusively on cudweed sage and a few related
plants.
