Spharagemon bolli Scudder

Spharagemon bolli, a common grasshopper in Nebraska, is occasionally collected in the Black Hills of
Wyoming and other areas in extreme eastern Wyoming. It prefers sunny forest openings
with dry grasses. Eggs overwinter in the soil. Nymphs become adults in late July or
early August. It is primarily a grass feeder but it is not considered a pest species
in Wyoming.
