About Us

The Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, a 67,000-plus-square-foot $35 million facility, is the result of the generosity of Wyoming's enthusiastic private donors, making it the largest fundraising facility project in the university's history.

The facility is home to the UW Alumni Association, Admissions, and the UW Foundation and contains office and collaborative space for these units as they support and promote the university.

The building contains nearly $3 million worth of technology infrastructure featuring one-of-a-kind video exhibits, including a 30-screen video wall in the lobby.

The Wyoming Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center has been LEED Certified Silver.  LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a certification program for green buildings that recognizes building strategies and practices that exemplify best in class.

 

Awards

The Marian H. Rochelle Center's unique architecture, superior construction, and innovative technology continues to bring accolades.

The building contractor, Haselden Wyoming, won the ENR Mountain States 2015 Colorado Wyoming & Plains States Best Project.

In addition, the Gateway Center was featured in the 2016 AIA Wyoming (American Institute of Architects) Calendar.

The DLR Group was also awarded a BEST Award in the education category from the Rocky Mountain Chapter of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) for their work in designing the Gateway Center's interiors.
