For Nonresident Veteran/Dependent Students
Effective for Summer Session 2015, qualified military veteran/dependent students may be eligible for resident tuition rates. To qualify for this new benefit, nonresident military veteran/dependent students must meet the following qualifications:
A qualifying veteran is defined as:

a veteran using VA Education Benefits under the Chapter 33 or Chapter 30 programs, and
-
a veteran who lives in the state of Wyoming
A qualifying dependent is defined as:

a spouse or child using transferred benefits or Chapter 35 DEA who lives in Wyoming and
-
a spouse or child using benefits under the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship who lives in Wyoming
The benefit will also apply for veteran/dependent students who are currently enrolled at UW as of April 1, 2015, if they meet the above qualifications.
