Alpha Phi (Kappa Iota Chapter)
Discover the vibrant sisterhood of Alpha Phi at the University of Wyoming! Founded
on September 18, 1872, at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi has grown to 175 collegiate
chapters and over 131 alumnae communities across the U.S. and Canada. With a membership
of more than 250,000, Alpha Phi is dedicated to supporting women in lifelong achievement.
The Kappa Iota chapter at UW, established in Fall 2019 and chartered in August 2020,
has quickly become a standout. At UW, Alpha Phi members shine in various campus organizations,
including Cowboy Coaching, the Honors College, the Panhellenic Council, ASUW, UW athletic
teams, and club sports.
Alpha Phi is also dedicated to philanthropy, having established the Alpha Phi Foundation
in 1956 to award scholarships, promote cardiac health, support women’s heart health
initiatives, and assist members in need through the Forget Me Not Grant Fund. If you're
