Sorority Recruitment Process
The Panhellenic recruitment process is a four-day experience that takes place in mid-September. The goal of this time is to explore which chapter feels most connected to you and your values.
- Day 1: Orientation
- Get an overview of the events coming up, meet your recruitment counselor and visit the chapter houses.
- Day 2: Philanthropy Round
- Day 3: Sisterhood Round
- Day 4: Bid Day
- Learn which chapter extended a bid to you!
What You Need to Know
During recruitment, you’re finding the chapter that feels like the best fit, while chapters are looking for sisters who align with their values. Take time to explore your options, but stay open-minded—you never know where you’ll find your perfect match!

The University of Wyoming boasts four sorority chapters and 2 associated member chapters. Look over each chapter's profile to learn more about their history and values.
Associate chapters are fully supported by the Panhellenic Council and are professional chapters who require a specific major or career interest to join. UW associate chapters include Phi Sigma Rho and Sigma Alpha.
Being part of a sorority affords you new leadership and personal development opportunities. Be sure to look into available trainings and programs.
Each chapter has its own requirements to join. Be sure to check out the chapter page to learn about GPA or any other requirements.
Dues are dependent on each chapter and can range from $100.00 to $5,500.00 a semester. Check with your chapter(s) of interest to learn more specific details.
