Jenna joined the General Counsel legal staff at the University of Wyoming in 2023 as Associate General Counsel. She is currently Deputy General Counsel, Employment and Institutional Compliance.
Jenna is a North Carolina native. She has a bachelor's degree in international and comparative politics from Appalachian State University and graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2019. Jenna began her legal career as a prosecutor in Colorado and continued her career in private practice in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Jenna's duties in providing legal support and guidance to the University include, but are not limited to:
- Subpoena and discovery responses
- Labor and employment
- Acting as a liaison to outside counsel for litigation matters
- Athletics related matters
- Research and safety compliance
- Academic and student affairs
- Contract and policy review
- Public records
