Justin is a fifth-generation Wyoming resident and the third generation of his family to attend UW. Justin and his wife graduated with their bachelor’s degrees from UW in 1996 and make their home in Rock Springs. All four of their daughters have attended UW (three graduated, one finishing her senior year in 2025-2026), with three bachelor’s and one master’s degree so far! Their extended family has had a successful run in Sweetwater County, running a sheep ranch into the late 1960’s and then a beverage distributorship since. Justin’s father, Tom, was a surgeon in Rock Springs and was a two-term member of the UW Board of Trustees, and their whole family has been deeply involved in the university through the Board of Trustees, the UW Foundation, the UWAA, the Cowboy Joe Club, and now the Haub School.
Professionally, Justin is a financial advisor and general partner/principal with the financial services firm Edward Jones. In addition to his practice, he serves the firm as a regional leader and principal, responsible for leading the operations of 45 branches and 50 financial advisors and their teams across the state, along with $6.3 billion in clients’ assets under care. He has served on several boards and committees throughout his career. He currently sits on the boards of the Wyoming chapter of Make-A-Wish as well as the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County Foundation. He was previously elected to two terms as a trustee on the Sweetwater County School District #1 Board of Trustees, two of those years as chairman.
