What is your central role within the University, and what are your primary objectives?

"The role of ENR club is to connect people with the natural world and discuss human-environment challenges! Our goal is to foster a sense of community and create opportunities for people to engage via service opportunities, education, and discussion."

What motivated you to choose this position, and how has it influenced your academic journey?

"I became interested in ENR club mostly because I was fascinated with the ways in which humans interact with the environment, and I feel as though being part of this club has really allowed me to make connections with a variety of people and interests."

What skills or qualities have you developed during your experience that will be beneficial in the future?

"ENR club has allowed me to become a stronger communicator and more confident in my leadership abilities! Not only have I had various opportunities to coordinate events directly correlating to natural resource issues, but I have also been able to use these opportunities to step outside of my comfort zone!"

How do you envision applying the knowledge and experiences gained  during your undergraduate studies to your future goals or career aspirations?

"During my undergraduate studies, I have not only gained a really strong academic background and an understanding of the environmental issues facing Wyoming and the world, but I have also learned how to apply these skills in a plethora of professional and academic settings! Most importantly, I have learned how to be a good communicator and the passion that I have developed for solving environmental problems will help me in any setting I end up in!"

How has the ENR Club supported your professional journey? What are your favorite parts about this position?

"ENR club has given me perspective on the different career opportunities available in the form of panel events and brown bag lunches that we have held as a club. Additionally, I feel as though discussing natural resource issues has helped me understand relevant aspects of environmental management in Wyoming."
