Dr. Sara Ghezzi is an Assistant Professor of Practice of Outdoor Recreation and Tourism.
Sara’s research focuses on food safety. She has examined food safety knowledge in
the catering sector and wrote a food safety manual focused on the food truck industry.
She also collaborated on an Environmental Protection Agency pollution prevention grant,
which dealt with sustainability in the craft brewery sector.
“My primary goal is to see the business hospitality concentration grow. We're focusing
a lot on tourism, as well, but my main objective is to get students ready to go into
the workforce. When you look at tourism and hospitality as a whole, workforce needs
are the number one goal right now for a lot of companies, not just in Wyoming."
