What are Global Student Ambassadors?

Our Global Student Ambassadors were chosen by the International Students and Scholars office to act as our public representatives.

Their duties include:

• Communicate to current and future students about life at UW
• Organize activities that support our student population
• Manage the ISS social media accounts.

 

Our Ambassadors have been responsible for the following campus programming:

• • Snowshoe and Ski trips for students
  • Virtual gaming nights
    
  • Pumpkin Carving for Halloween
  • Know Your Rights panel on international student rights in the United States
  • Planned for ISS Employment Month events
  • Social Media giveaways
  • New Student welcome
  • Planned the Recognition of Student Athletes during a Wyoming Cowgirls basketball game
  • International Student Potluck
    
  • UW Tales - A weekly post on Facebook and Instagram about one of UW's international students
  • Walked students to their first Cowboys tailgate party
  • Organized the UW International Faculty panel
    
  • Hosted a Virtual concert on Facebook
