UW's Double Reed Day is back in person this year on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.!

The University of Wyoming's Double Reed Day, hosted by the Department of Music, is open to double reed players of all ages and levels.

Join UW Music’s double reed faculty, Brittany Bonner and Kaori Uno-Jack, and your fellow players for masterclasses and the final concert at 3:00 p.m. in the BCPA Recital Hall.

Our Wind Symphony conductor, Dr. Matthew Schlomer, will be conducting with Double Reed Day Ensemble this year.

Please register early so that you have more time to prepare to play in this fun and unique group! Music TBD.

Admission to the concert is FREE and the public is cordially invited.

10:00-11:30am	Masterclass/Reed Making Workshop
11:30-12:30pm	Double Reed Day Ensemble Rehearsal
12:30-1:30pm	Lunch
1:30pm-3:00pm	Masterclass/Reed Making Workshop
3:00-4:30pm	Double Reed Day Concert
