The University of Wyoming’s Service, Leadership and Community Engagement (SLCE) program and the Good Mule Project will host “The People’s Supper” Wednesday, March 13.
The dinner, free and open to the UW community, will take place at 6 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room.
The dinner brings individuals together who have differing political and ideological viewpoints for friendly conversation over a shared meal, according to the event’s organizers. At the dinner, attendees are encouraged to share stories and personal experiences in an effort to better understand different perspectives across campus.
“It is meant to provide an opportunity to move past arguments and focus on listening to each other,” says Caroline Lukens, SLCE marketing coordinator.
