Selected students from throughout the University of Wyoming College of Health Sciences presented both oral and poster research presentations during the college’s recent Research Day.
The College of Health Sciences Research Day is an event focused on undergraduate and graduate students from disciplines throughout the college. The students work with faculty members from their college divisions to share current research projects.
Jenifer Thomas, an associate professor in UW’s Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing, along with a faculty member and student from each division in the college, reviews each presentation based on content, quality and relevance to current health education research. The committee then selects a limited number of presentations to receive monetary awards that will go toward furthering research and travel funding.
