Listening Session May 20 on UW Office of Engagement and Outreach Strategic Plan

A campus listening session regarding the draft strategic plan for the University of Wyoming’s Office of Engagement and Outreach (OEO) is scheduled from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, May 20.

It will take place in Room 215 of the Classroom Building and streamed via WyoCast at https://tinyurl.com/EngageWyoCast for those who are unable to attend in person.

The strategic plan seeks to help UW faculty, staff and students become more engaged with the state, its communities and community organizations. A draft of the plan is available at www.uwyo.edu/engagement.

“Come and learn how OEO hopes to support campus efforts and build capacity in UW’s partnerships around the state for the benefit of all,” Chief Engagement Officer Jean Garrison says. “We need your feedback on the steps to accomplish this.”

OEO opened earlier this year to serve as a portal of access to UW for the citizens of Wyoming, and beyond, to coordinate and streamline engagement and outreach efforts in order to achieve enhanced consistency, follow-through and impact.
