Profiles of 40 University of Wyoming students who represent the characteristics of UW’s “The World Needs More Cowboys” marketing campaign are featured in the spring 2019 digital edition of UWyo Magazine.
Students who exemplify adventurous spirit, unyielding courage, fearless authenticity, unwavering integrity, inspired creativity, restless curiosity, unshakeable determination, unbendable optimism, innovation and wonder discuss their experiences at UW and their hopes for the future.

Along with stories and photographs of the students, there are links to videos of several of those profiled.
Also included are a farewell message from President Laurie Nichols; a gallery of photos taken by UW students studying abroad; news updates on a variety of UW initiatives and research; activities of the UW Alumni Association and its members; and a profile of major UW donor Lois Mottonen’s legacy.
UWyo Magazine, the university’s flagship publication, is published two times a year in print and digital formats, and once a year in a digital-only format. It’s a partnership among UW Institutional Marketing and the Alumni Association, with support from the Office of Research and Economic Development, the Division of Student Affairs, the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of the President.
