Country band Tie Hack will perform Wednesday, July 24, as part of the University of Wyoming’s Summer Concert Series. The event is free and open to the public.
The Laramie-based group will perform from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. on Simpson Plaza. UW Residence Life and Dining Services will provide burgers -- including a veggie option -- pulled pork, hot dogs, sides and drinks for purchase from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Inspired by vintage and alternative-country sounds, Tie Hack makes original western honky-tonk music. Fronted by songwriters and guitarists Shawn Hess and Bob Lefevre, the band also features Harley Mosely on pedal steel guitar, Micah Schweizer on electric bass and Seth McGee on drums.
