Marsh’s stops will include a presentation before the Society of Petroleum Engineers student chapter Thursday at 5 p.m. in Room 3070 of the Engineering Building. Previously, Marsh served as senior vice president of Encana’s U.S. division after being promoted to that position in 2011. From November 2009 to October 2013, he served as an executive vice president at Encana, leading the natural gas economy team, a fundamentals team that was responsible for understanding supply and demand relationships for natural gas in North America. Before 2009, Marsh held various management positions at Encana’s Bighorn Business Unit and Encana’s South Rockies Business Unit.
He has served on the Wyoming Governor’s Energy, Engineering, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Integration Task Force; and on both the UW Foundation and engineering accreditation boards.
