All the little ghouls, goblins, princesses, zombies and superheroes are invited to Safe Treat on the University of Wyoming campus on Halloween from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31. Events hosted by UW departments are free and open to the community for a safe and dry evening.
The popular communitywide Safe Treat returns to UW for another year of fun activities and treats hosted by UW, Residence Life and Dining Services, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and recognized student organizations.
Trick-or-treating, face painting, kid-friendly haunted houses, storytelling, cookie decorating, mazes and games will be held in various buildings around fraternity and sorority mall, and the lower level of the Washakie Dining Center.
“Safe Treat is a fun time to support and give back to the local community, enjoy the fun costumes and not worry about the stresses of being a student for a few hours by dressing up ourselves,” says Neve Mead, a sorority member and Panhellenic president.
Safe Treat parking will be available in the Wyoming Union parking lot and lots to the north and east of the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts.
For more information about parking and buildings where events will be held, visit the website at www.uwyo.edu/tps/parking/enforcement.html. Participating buildings are colored in blue on the site map.
