UW to Host Student Art Show Nov. 14

An art show featuring work created by University of Wyoming students is planned Thursday, Nov. 14, in the Wyoming Union.

The art show will take place at 6 p.m. in the Fireplace Lounge, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union. Banshee Tree, a swing/dance/jam band, will perform during the event. The 7220 Entertainment Fine Arts and Lectures Committee and StudioWYO host the event, which is free and open to the public.

Students interested in presenting their artwork in the show can email fal@uwyo.edu; fill out an application here; or obtain an entry form at the Campus Activities Center (CAC), located in Room 012 in the Wyoming Union.

Only work that can be displayed on an easel -- preferably paintings and drawings -- may be submitted. There is a dimension limit of 3 feet by 3 feet. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the show.
