Michelle DiPasquale, the University of Wyoming’s violence prevention coordinator, has been invited as a guest speaker for the virtual Take Back the Night global event at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, to support survivors and raise awareness about ending sexual violence.
The free international event is a collective time of sharing and healing through poetry, survivor stories and reflections. UW also will receive recognition for the work the campus has undertaken in the prevention of sexual and interpersonal violence and the work that DiPasquale is specifically developing and leading. She will highlight Green Dot, UW’s bystander intervention program.
DiPasquale has been instrumental in the rollout of Green Dot along with developing new violence prevention education programs on campus.
