Connection in the Community, Job and Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Hub is a website that brings together Laramie nonprofits and Albany County residents. Through this website users can browse a list of Laramie-area organizations, reply to active volunteer opportunities, and create a record of their volunteer hours and activities. University of Wyoming users can access this resource using their single sign-on credentials.

Big Brothers Big Sisters: In these times of uncertainty, the importance of strong relationships has never been more clear. You can help make a difference by becoming a mentor. Being a Big is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things you’ll ever do. You can help shape a child’s future for the better by empowering them to achieve. And the best part is, it’s actually a lot of fun. You and your Little can share the kinds of activities you already like to do like hiking Medicine Bow peak or going to a UW football game. We are actively recruiting volunteers to mentor youth in Laramie.

Entrance Exam Preparation
Looking for an economical way to prepare for the GRE, MCAT, OAT, or DAT? The Pre-Health Advising Office can check out some study books to you. Most of them are a few years old, but they are still good for the current versions of these exams. In order to see our selection, contact us at hsadvise@uwyo.edu.
The folks at Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) are offering some exam preparation webinars!
Remember that Craig and April are always available to discuss the timeline for MCAT prep and application to medical school.
