The Faces Of Our University

University of Wyoming Brand Ambassadors (UWBA) are fun, energetic and passionate Pokes who share stories and enthusiasm for our great university.

UWBAs represent our university in a positive light to raise brand awareness and provide a memorable experience for people interested in the university. Ambassadors serve as promotional marketers for the university and provide an emotional connection. They perform these duties on the UW campus, at events in the Laramie community and outreach events throughout the state and region.

UWBAs serve for the full school year, August through May.

The No. 1 objective?
Create a fun and memorable experience for our fans. Some of the roles and responsibilities include:

• Distributing marketing materials, such as posters, flyers, brochures, etc.
• Sparking word-of-mouth buzz about UW
• Increasing brand awareness by wearing branded UW apparel
• Attending UW events on campus, in the community and around the state
• Coordinating social media takeovers
• Posting on message boards and writing blog content
• Inviting friends and peers to share UW content
• Creating reviews for use in Admissions publications

The details
This is the chance to get some great job experience, get paid and work around your schedule. You’ll have opportunities to enhance your skills, such as networking and social marketing, while having the flexibility to study and socialize.

The key to this is have fun and use your imagination to spread the word about how great UW is and encourage people to learn more!
