About the Technology Transfer Office
The Technology Transfer Office was formally launched on October 1, 1999 as a collaborative effort between the University of Wyoming Research and Economic Development Division and the Wyoming Business Council. University of Wyoming inventors can get more information on the UW Inventors page about protecting their intellectual property.
Our Goals
- Support the University of Wyoming community and organizations in technology transfer - the protection, marketing, and ultimate transfer of their intellectual property to industry.
- Develop a greater outside awareness of the University's research and development programs, along with the opportunities that the state of Wyoming offers to industry.
- Support the creation of new technology startup ventures within Wyoming.
- Encourage partnerships between University faculty and Wyoming business.
