Project Name: Low-Cost Carbon Recovery for Economic Valorization

The project aims to significantly reduce the cost of carbon recovery from fossil fuel combustion and enable the utilization of recovered carbon, such as in enhanced oil recovery (EOR), using a novel catalyst. Successful implementation will advance CO₂ capture technologies and support the growth of a fossil resource-based economy.

Problem

Wyoming has a lot of coal, but burning it releases CO2.

Product/Solution

This project uses a special chemical catalyst to catch that CO2 much faster and cheaper than current methods. Once caught, that carbon can be reused for other industries.
