Problem

People with diabetes often get wounds that just won't heal because of certain proteins in their body. 

Product/Solution

This team is repurposing a bone drug to stop those proteins. This helps the skin grow back and close the wound, preventing infections and amputations.

Wyoming Impact

Individuals with diabeties (6 million Americans per year) will have less risk of infections and need of amputations.
