Each spring semester, workshops and drop-in support is made available to students interested in participating in Undergraduate Research and Inquiry Days.
Graduate students from Wyoming INBRE work with undergraduates to write, edit, and create an abstract in late February.
Afternoon workshops on poster design and oral presentation occur throughout the semester. These are semi-structured opportunities for participants to learn from faculty and staff about effective communication of research, layout of supporting materials, and ways to prepare a presentation.
Finally, drop in office hours are a great time to come talk about projects, ask questions, or work on projects with experts who can guide and suggest compelling ways to engage others through your research.
A calendar will be available as dates are confirmed.
The Wyoming Research Scholars Program has provided me with the resources and knowledge necessary to pursue my own, personalized research projects, letting me tackle difficult questions I’ve found to be the most enjoyable to explore. WRSP has been more than a job for me; it’s been a second mentor.
