Internships can be a great way for students to learn new skills, test the waters of a specific career interest, and gain experience for future professional opportunities. But, how do you find an internship?
Please join Student Success Services and ACES for a workshop where you can learn all about internships, including how to find potential internships whether they are on-campus, seasonal, or even international. A free lunch will be served.
Did you know that the FAFSA application was simplified? For the upcoming academic year, students will need to complete a brand new Free Application for Federal Student Aid in order to continue receiving federal assistance for college.
Please join TRIO Student Success Services and Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) for a drop-in workshop to assist students with completing the recently released FAFSA application. We will be located in the Wyoming Union for two days to assist students so please stop by when it's convenient for you!
Location: January workshop will take place in the Poke Pride Center with Multicultural Affairs. February events will take place in the Union Breezeway behind Rolling Mill Cafe.
On February 24, 1986, a congressional resolution (H. Con. Res. 278) declared that Saturday, February 28, 1986 should be designated as "National TRIO Day" to commemorate the annual achievements of the Federal TRIO programs in communities across the country. We are so excited to celebrate our TRIO SSS students at the University of Wyoming this year!
A free lunch will be serve during the event.

Many TRIO students may feel some confusion about certain "norms" within the professional world. How should I dress for a job interview? Should I arrive early? There are so many questions just like these ones, and we can help you find some answers.

Graduating college is a massive accomplishment and we want to celebrate! Please join SSS for our annual Student Recognition Dinner to honor our spring graduates.
SSS graduates and their guests can enjoy a free dinner and a keynote speaker while they celebrate their upcoming graduation from the University of Wyoming. Advisors will speak about each of their advisees and present them with a special graduation gift so that they can always reflect on their experience in TRIO SSS.
