Seth Felbeck

Seth Felbeck is an Assistant Research Professional in the Center for Energy Regulation and Policy Analysis at the School of Energy Resources.
Felbeck earned dual degrees in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Wyoming in 2024, followed by a Master of Business Administration in 2026, as well as an Energy Business Certificate, providing specialized expertise within the industry.
During his education, he gained valuable practical experience through a three-year internship with the Wyoming Taxpayers Association, where he conducted policy research, comparative studies on Wyoming’s revenues and expenditures compared to the other states, and also worked on the second iteration of The Cowboy Family, a dashboard that allows users to input the variables of their household to understand Wyoming’s tax structure for their unique situation.
Additionally, Felbeck interned with CERPA, where he worked on research comparing severance ad valorum and corporate income tax for energy-producing states.
In his new role, he continues to conduct research at the intersection of energy and economics and authors the monthly Consolidated Review of Energy in Wyoming (CREW) Reports.
