David Lucke

David Lucke is a Project Specialist on the research team at the School of Energy Resources. Lucke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography in 1999 from the University of Wyoming and briefly worked for the Union Pacific Railroad before pursuing a master’s degree in Geography. He worked at the Wyoming State Geological Survey (WSGS) in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and as a digital cartographer, before moving up through various roles while earing an additional bachelor’s degree in Geology. He came to SER with over 17 years of experience in managing major projects and research grant opportunities for the WSGS.

In his role at SER, he helps to alleviate some of the administrative burden on multiple high-profile projects in the Research Centers of Excellence in order to maximize efficiency, streamlineapplication and reporting processes, as well as manage deliverables. He also is part of the management team for the Wyoming Integrated Test Center.
