Larissa Rutz

Larissa Rutz is the Academic Coordinator for the School of Energy Resources. In her role, she focuses on recruitment efforts for the academic programs at SER, conducts outreach with alumni and employment partners, and works to connect students with jobs and internships.

Rutz earned her undergraduate degree in History from the University of Wyoming (UW) and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. Her commitment to leadership and community engagement has been evident throughout her academic career, particularly within Greek life and other on-campus student organizations. Notably, as a member of Alpha Phi, Rutz held key roles as chapter president and vice president of member education. She also dedicated her time to recruitment initiatives for both local and national Greek organizations.

Concurrently, Rutz worked for the UW Foundation as an annual giving intern, where she worked on campus-wide campaigns and donor relations. She also served as an advisor for the UW Cowbell Program, the online portal that manages student clubs and organizations.

Most recently, she worked for the University of Montana as the Assistant Director of Campus Engagement and Leadership.
