Instrumentation

Our data is reliable becuase our instruments are reliable. Our lab consistents of 4 IRMS's, with a collective 8 periphrial elemental analyzers, thermal conversion analyzers, gas-benches, and a GC-C. These monolithic analyzers are sensitive and robust allowing for a variety of applications.

Elemental Analyzers

This elemental analyzer is used for organic elemental analysis of Nitrogen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen and Sulfur, using the Dumas Method.

Compound specific isotope analysis (CSIA) analyzes specific compounds for δ13C, δ15N, δ18O, and δ2H ratios through the use of gas chromatograph separation coupled to either combustion or pyrolysis interfaces.
