University Counseling Center

The University Counseling Center offers free STUDENT COUNSELING SERVICES including CRISIS INTERVENTION to currently enrolled University of Wyoming students. You may call 307-766-2187 or come in to initiate services.

We are available year-round, even during breaks (except campus Winter Closure, Christmas Eve-New Years).

For after-hours crisis, call 307-766-8989, or for emergencies, dial 911.

The UCC is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive space for all students. For those who have experienced marginalization and oppression, you and all of your identities are welcome here. We celebrate diversity of all backgrounds and identities, including but not limited to: ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds; languages; mental health; sexual, gender, and affectional identities; physical, sensory, and cognitive/learning abilities; body sizes and shapes; ages; relationship and reproductive statuses; military service; religious, spiritual, and philosophical beliefs; socioeconomic statuses; substance use and those in recovery; and others for whom there is not yet commonly shared language to discuss your identities.

For mental health crisis situations Monday-Friday during office hours, call our office at 307-766-2187. After hours (or when our office is closed), please use our after-hours crisis line at 307-766-8989 or dial 911 for life-threatening emergencies.
