About International Studies at UW
UW offers two ways to complete your international studies master’s degree: the traditional
master’s program or the joint degree with the environment and natural resources graduate
program. Combining international studies with environment and natural resources allows
you to study and apply innovative approaches to address issues in environmental and
natural resource management from a global studies perspective.
Whichever path you take, you’ll have the flexibility, resources and support to create
a master’s program in international studies that fits your goals and interests. Because
the world needs more relentless curiosity.

International Studies Graduate Minor
Interested in international studies? Consider a graduate international studies minor! Students graduating with this minor will be able to recognize and appreciate the historical, political, social, cultural and economic dimensions of international processes and issues, integrating these into an interdisciplinary perspective.
