ISS supports J-1 scholars and students, in addition to supporting international students at UW. J-1 scholars and students are part of the J-1 Visitor Exchange program, and can be students, professors, research scholars, short-term scholars, or student interns. If you are studying or researching at UW through J-1, this is your starting point to get the support you need.
