About WWAMI
Over the course of your medical education, you’ll complete courses in Laramie and clinical rotations across the 5-state WWAMI region. Wyoming residents complete 18 months of foundational coursework at the University of Wyoming. The final two and a half years of the program are spent in clinical rotations across the WWAMI region of Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.
The WWAMI partnership includes numerous universities, hospitals, patient care centers and faculty members, all of whom participate in the program to provide future physicians with the best possible medical education so they can return to practice in Wyoming.

"The University of Washington School of Medicine is a highly rated medical institution, and Wyoming WWAMI was by far the most economical option for my medical training, thanks to the State of Wyoming’s generosity.
