UW to Launch COVID Learning Plan for Leaders

The University of Wyoming will soon launch the COVID Learning Plan for Leaders accessible through the Employee LearnCenter.

UW faculty and staff supervisors will receive system-generated email from HRTrain@uwyo.edu adding them to the COVID Learning Plan for Leaders. The purpose of the COVID Learning Plan is to provide leaders of UW community with just-in-time training on an as-needed basis to assist in defining standard practices across campus.

Course material within the learning plan will be developed as bite-sized micro learning that should take less than five minutes to complete -- but provide the supervisor with critical knowledge of standard practices as employees phase in back to campus.

The learning plan will update regularly with new courses and material as COVID-related procedures and policies update. This will ensure supervisors are trained on current procedures as they are approved.

As Human Resources adds new courses, a system-generated email will direct the supervisor to new course contained within the learning plan. When a new course is added, the learning plan will return to an incomplete state until the new course is completed.  

Supervisors soon will be able to access the COVID Learning Plan for Leaders in the Employee LearnCenter under the tab My Learning Plans.
