Webb Named UW Acting AVP of Business Enterprises

In an effort to better serve students, staff and faculty, the University of Wyoming is merging Housing, Dining, Transit and Parking, Catering, the University Store, Jacoby Golf Course, Real Estate, and the Copy and Print Center under one umbrella -- UW Business Enterprises.

Longtime UW employee Eric Webb has been appointed to serve as acting associate vice president of UW Business Enterprises. He oversees many of these operations already.

“We are fortunate to have Eric leading in this very important part of campus life,” Senior Vice President Neil Theobald says. “He cares deeply for UW and has an impressive record of success working with our parents, students and staff.”

Webb joined the UW staff as director of Dining Services in 2007 and has been actively involved in developing the university’s new campus housing plan.

“I couldn’t be more excited for UW’s future,” Webb says. “I am delighted for the opportunity to lead this new organization and guide its impactful mission.”

Webb holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from Oregon State University. He has a master’s degree in public administration from UW.
