UW Libraries Complimentary Access to The Washington Post Now Easier Off Campus

University of Wyoming community members now have more options to access a free subscription to The Washington Post.

A partnership between UW Libraries and The Washington Post, which was announced last May, allows UW students, faculty and staff to have full digital access to news and content via WashingtonPost.com. A recent program upgrade now offers easier off-campus and app access. The complimentary access includes current news coverage from across the country and around the world, as well as content such as podcasts, live chats and videos.

UW students, faculty and staff can activate their unlimited access by visiting www.washingtonpost.com while connected on campus. Those off campus can register for subscription access with their UWYO email account. Additionally, UW users can access content from The Washington Post app on their mobile devices. The app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

“We’re excited that The Washington Post extended this program upgrade to UW Libraries,” says Deborah McCarthy, UW Libraries assistant dean of resource discovery and management. “It now makes it easier than ever for UW users to access The Washington Post and all of its content off campus and on any device.”
