DOE Recognizes UWs EORI for Promoting States Carbon Capture Readiness

The University of Wyoming’s Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) has made it on the front page of the U.S. Department of Energy’s monthly Carbon Storage Newsletter, highlighting EORI’s published StoryMap “Wyoming is CCUS Ready!”

The interactive StoryMap focuses on Wyoming’s infrastructure, geology and tax incentives as they relate to carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) as well as other financial and environmental benefits.

The newsletter is compiled by the National Energy Technology Laboratory to provide information on recent activities and publications related to carbon storage. It covers domestic, international, public-sector and private-sector news.
